Disk Butler

Disk Butler is in beta. It isn't notarized by Apple yet, which is why macOS shows a warning the first time you open it (see the download steps on the home page for exactly why, and how to proceed). You're using beta software: it may change, break, or behave unexpectedly, and you should keep your own backups regardless of what any disk tool tells you.
Disk Butler finds and explains places on your Mac that may be reclaimable, and can act on your instructions to clean, move, or reorganize them. Wherever practical, actions go through the Trash or a verified copy-then-remove step rather than outright deletion, and every action is explained before you confirm it. Even so, no software is perfect: review what it proposes before approving anything, especially for files you haven't backed up elsewhere.
The free tier scans your Mac and explains what it finds, with no time limit. Pro is a one-time purchase (not a subscription) that unlocks the ability to act — clean, move, and automate — plus a few other tools described on the home page. Pro isn't on sale yet; the price will be shown before you're asked to pay anything.
Once Pro is on sale: payment is processed by Stripe. Your purchase unlocks Pro for the Mac(s) you use, under a key tied to your order. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us at the address below.
Disk Butler is provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for data loss, lost time, or any other damages arising from using or being unable to use the app, beyond what the law requires and beyond the amount you paid for Pro, if anything.
Don't use Disk Butler to interfere with, damage, or gain unauthorized access to systems you don't own or have permission to manage. Don't attempt to redistribute, resell, or circumvent the Pro license mechanism.
We may update these terms as the product changes (for example, once Pro has a real price, or once the app is notarized). The date at the top of this page will change with it.
